San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photographer: Evelyn and Kaleb

The indoor ceremony space at the San Diego County Administration Center is a natural light filled room and great for a courthouse wedding in San Diego. With its historic architecture, soft indoor light, and sweeping harbor views just outside, it’s a perfect location for couples planning an intimate civil ceremony. As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I often photograph ceremonies here for couples who want something simple, timeless, and meaningful, and when they don't have any guests, I'm happy to serve as their witness!

Evelyn and Kaleb couple chose to keep their wedding day incredibly intimate with no guests, just the two of them exchanging vows inside the ceremony room before stepping outside for portraits around the iconic white arches and waterfront pathways surrounding the building.

San Diego Courthouse Wedding: Paige and Patrick

Paige and Patrick celebrated their wedding with an intimate courthouse ceremony at the beautiful San Diego County Administration Center in San Diego. Pre ceremony, Paige and Patrick shared a quiet First Look, taking a private moment together before officially saying “I do.”

After a quick check in with the clerk's office, it was ceremony time where their nieces and nephews greeted them with big hugs, creating one of the sweetest moments of the day. The excitement and support from their families made the courthouse ceremony feel incredibly warm and personal.

After their vows, it was time for sunset portraits at the newly renovated ceremony site at the San Diego County Administration Center. With its stunning architecture, open courtyards, and views of the harbor, the location provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding photos. This San Diego courthouse wedding was amazing!

Sunset Cliffs Proposal in San Diego: Arturo & Pau

Arturo planned the perfect proposal at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park during a trip to San Diego with Pau. Traveling from Mexico with their closest friends, Pau had no idea what was about to happen. As the sun began to set over the Pacific, Arturo led her to the cliffs where their friends quietly waited nearby, ready to celebrate the moment. When he got down on one knee, Pau was stunned. Moments like these are why proposals at Sunset Cliffs are so epic: the dramatic coastal scenery, the golden hour light, and the genuine surprise make it one of the most iconic places to plan a proposal in San Diego.

Alila Marea Proposal | San Diego Proposal Photographer | Steven and Josie

While they met in high school, Steven and Josie didn't connect romantically until a bit later in their lives. With a trip planned to San Diego, a special stay booked at Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas, and a dinner with family later, this quickly became the perfect moment for Steven to propose. As a San Diego proposal photographer, I love this area because Alila Marea offers a number of ideal proposal spots, from cliffside corners to the wide sandy stretch of South Ponto Beach, I love shooting here at sunset whether we have full sun or clouds.

Steven got down on one knee on one of the cliffs outside the hotel, with waves crashing below at South Ponto Beach. Josie said yes, and the entire moment was perfect to photograph.

San Diego Mini Session, Coronado Family Photos

Few places say ‘San Diego’ quite like Coronado Beach: soft sand, ocean breezes, and iconic Hotel Del Coronado. This sweet family of five chose Coronado for their San Diego mini session, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

We started the evening at the Coronado sand dunes, where the warm, golden light brought out the soft tones of their cream-colored outfits. The neutral palette looked incredible against the beach backdrop. As the sun dipped lower, we moved closer to the water’s edge to capture playful moments, candid laughs, and a few timeless portraits with the waves rolling in.

Sunset mini sessions like this one are wonderful for families with older kids and teens. The later time means no rush, plus the light is absolutely magical. In just a short session, we captured a mix of posed and candid moments that truly reflect their family’s connection.

If you’re looking for a San Diego photographer mini session, Coronado Beach offers endless beauty, from the dunes to the shoreline. My mini sessions are designed to be relaxed, efficient, and full of genuine moments. Whether you have young children or teenagers, a San Diego mini session is a great way to create beautiful memories.
